Hello everyone,

Please find below important information about the 2007 Scout Jamboree (held in January). Please fill in the form below and return to scouts by Monday, 28^th November if you want to go to the Jamboree. A meeting of scouts and parents will be held before the end of term to start fundraising and organising for this event.

Please note, Scouts must:

• Be born between 1st January 1992 and 31st December 1995
  (between their 11th and 15th birthdays at start of Jamboree)
• Have camped as a Scout for 10 nights under canvas (four of which must be consecutive)
• Hold the Pioneer Badge
• Be considered by their parents/guardians and Scout Leader to be of sufficient maturity and good behaviour to successfully participate in the Jamboree

AGE RANGE AND REQUIREMENTS

Scouts
Who are between their 11th and 15th birthdays as at the 1st of January 2007 
(Born between 1st January 1992 & 31st December 1995)
Have been awarded their Pioneer Badge
Have camped at least 10 nights under canvas as a Scout with at least 4 nights consecutive

Venturers 
Who are between their 16th and 18th birthdays as at the 1st of January 2007
Fill the requirements set by the Victorian Branch Venturer Council 

Leaders 
Who hold a current Police Clearance
Hold a current Certificate of Adult Leadership
Who are current members of the Scout Association
Other Adult support staff 
Must hold a current Police Clearance

COSTS

Scouts
$1020 with independent travel
$1100 including Bus Transport to and from the Jamboree 

Venturers
$710 with independent travel
$790 including Bus Transport to and from the Jamboree 

Leaders
$680 with independent travel
$760 including Bus Transport to and from the Jamboree
